Encrypting and Shredding Files
|
|
StealthRay enables you to encrypt and decrypt files on your computer. The
ability to apply a customized encryption password to each encrypted file
further ensures that the encrypted files are impervious to intrusion.
StealthRay utilizes the Rijndael AES algorithm to encrypt data.

Using StealthRay’s file shredding feature, files and traces can be
effectively and permanently removed from your computer. StealthRay allows you
to choose between five shredding levels, each of which effectively renders the
shredded file(s) unrecoverable.

Windows Explorer Integration

Alternatively, you can shred and encrypt files directly from the Windows
Explorer window.

| Erasing Online Sessions |
| StealthRay’s session erasure option effectively covers
your browsing tracks. Erasing an online session means to remove all data
stemming from that session from your computer, including cookies, cache and
browsing history. To schedule session erasure, check "Erase Online
Session" before going online. The session data will be erased upon session
termination. |

| Blocking Pop-Ups |
| StealthRay’s Pop-Up Blocker effectively prevents annoying
pop-up ads from interfering with and slowing down your Internet activities.
When initiated, the Pop-Up Blocker shuts down all pop-up windows throughout an
Internet session. By default, the Pop-Up Blocker allows a limited number of
pop-up windows to appear, including Web site security alerts. Other Web titles
can be added to the list of allowed pop-up windows. |
